Each package spreads its excursions over separate days, so you are never rushed, and ends with time on the north-coast beaches. All three include three nights in our private villa with breakfast.

What Is Included in a 4-Day Package?

• Pick-up from the airport or your hotel, and final drop-off
• All transfers between the excursions, the villa and the beach
• The guided excursions in your itinerary with a licensed English and Swahili-speaking guide, including entrance fees and boat transfers where needed
• Three nights in our private villa with breakfast
• Bottled water during excursions

Not included: meals other than those listed, beach activities and water sports, optional extras such as snorkel hire and Stone Town museums, drinks, tips, travel insurance and Zanzibar's mandatory visitor insurance. Each package page lists its exact inclusions.

3, 4 or 5 Days: Which Length Suits You?

Choose four days if you want a slower pace with one activity a day. If you would rather fit more into a short stay, the 3-day packages pack two activities into each excursion day, including swimming with turtles at Salaam Cave.

Where Do You Stay?

All three nights are in our private Swahili-style villa in Shakani, a quiet coastal village in Zanzibar's West district. It has a pool, a tropical garden, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, with breakfast cooked each morning, and it is used only by your group. Staying in one place means no repacking: you leave your luggage at the villa and we drive you to each excursion and to the beach.

Where Will You Spend Your Beach Time?

Beach days are on the north coast at Nungwi or Kendwa, with transfers from the villa included. The north coast has calm water with little tidal change, so it is the easiest place on the island to swim at any time of day. The east coast (Paje, Jambiani) has wide tidal flats and suits kitesurfers, while Stone Town is for history and food rather than swimming. Our Zanzibar beach guide compares every coast.

When Is the Best Time for a 4-Day Zanzibar Trip?

Our packages run all year. June to October is dry and cooler, the most comfortable time for walking tours and forest trails. December to February is hot, with calm seas and excellent beach weather. What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a partial fee, depending on bookings already made on your behalf.
