7-Day Lemosho Route – Scenic & High-Success
$2,500 / person
Description
The Lemosho Route is widely considered one of the most beautiful and well-balanced paths up Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting from the remote western side (Londorossi Gate), it offers pristine rainforest with possible wildlife sightings (monkeys, buffalo), expansive views across the Shira Plateau, and excellent acclimatization via a gradual ascent and "climb high, sleep low" strategy. This 7-day camping itinerary reaches Uhuru Peak (5,895m) via the southern circuit, passing highlights like Lava Tower and the Barranco Wall, before descending via Mweka. With superior acclimatization and lower initial crowds, it boasts some of the highest summit success rates (~85–95%). Ideal for those seeking stunning scenery, variety, and the best chance of summiting.
