Everything Included in Your 3-Day Zanzibar Culture & Adventure Stay
This 3-day package covers Zanzibar's history, its wildlife and its beaches at a steady pace. Day 1 is a Stone Town walking tour and spice farm visit with lunch. On Day 2 you head south to swim with sea turtles at Salaam Cave in Kizimkazi, then visit Jozani Forest to see the red colobus monkeys. Day 3 is a free beach day at Nungwi or Kendwa. You spend two nights in our private villa with breakfast. Prices run from $305 per person for groups of four or more to $575 for a solo traveller.
On the Stone Town walk your licensed guide leads you through the UNESCO-listed old town, from the Old Fort to Christ Church Cathedral on the site of the former slave market. In the afternoon you smell and taste cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla at a working spice farm. Day 2 swaps history for nature: a swim with turtles in a clear cave pool, and a forest walk among one of Africa's rarest monkeys.
It suits first-time visitors, couples and families who want to see the real Zanzibar, meet its wildlife and still have a proper beach day. It builds on our 2-day Stone Town, spice farm and beach package by adding the turtle swim, Jozani and a second villa night.

Day 1 and Day 2 are guided excursion days; Day 3 is free time at the beach. Times are approximate and are planned around your arrival and departure.

Day 1Morning · Pick-Up and Stone Town Walking Tour
We collect you from Zanzibar Airport or your hotel. Your guide then leads a walk through Stone Town: the Old Fort and Forodhani Gardens, the House of Wonders (seen from outside while it is restored), Christ Church Cathedral and the former slave market, Darajani Market and Kenyatta Road, past the house linked to Freddie Mercury.

Afternoon · Spice Farm Tour and Lunch
A short drive inland takes you to a working spice farm, where your guide shows you cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, black pepper and cardamom growing, and you taste them fresh with seasonal fruit. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

Day 2Morning · Swimming with Turtles at Salaam Cave
After breakfast, drive south to Kizimkazi for Salaam Cave, a natural cave with a pool of clear turquoise water. You swim and snorkel with sea turtles and tropical fish and explore the cave's rock formations; the entry fee is included.

Afternoon · Jozani Forest and Mangrove Boardwalk
After a lunch stop (own cost), visit Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park. Your guide leads you along the forest trail to find the red colobus monkeys, which are often seen at close range, then along the raised boardwalk through the mangroves. Return to the villa for your second night.

Nungwi or Kendwa: Where Will You Spend Day 3?
Day 3 is spent on the north coast, at Nungwi or Kendwa. Both beaches are on the north-west tip of the island, about an hour's drive from Stone Town, and both have a small tidal range, so the sea stays close enough to swim at almost any time of day.

What Should You Pack for Three Days?
Pack light: your luggage stays at the villa for both nights, so you only need a day bag on the excursion days. Day 2 is a swimming day, so keep swimwear and a towel to hand.

When Is the Best Time for This 3-Day Package?
The package runs all year. June to October is the most comfortable time for walking in Stone Town and in Jozani Forest, and December to February brings hot, calm weather that is ideal for swimming. In the long rains of April and May showers are common but rarely last all day, and the forest and spice farm are at their greenest.

Lunch is included on Day 1. On Day 2 you stop for lunch at a local restaurant at your own cost, and on Day 3 you can eat at a beachfront restaurant.
Choose Nungwi for restaurants, beach bars and activities, or Kendwa for a quieter beach and calm swimming at almost any tide. Both are on the north coast, about an hour from Stone Town.
We plan around your arrival time. If you land in the afternoon, Day 1 can start with villa check-in and a shorter visit, and we rearrange the rest of the itinerary. Share your flight details when you book.
