    Pick up from Dar es Salaam hotel or airport after breakfast. Drive ~4-5 hours to Mikumi National Park. Afternoon game drive on the Mkata Floodplain — large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and diverse birdlife. Picnic lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at a comfortable lodge or tented camp in/near Mikumi.

    Morning game drive in Mikumi for more wildlife sightings, then short transfer (~2-3 hours) to Udzungwa Mountains.
